Story

The idea behind the work

The work speaks of turning life towards what is highest in us. The path does not ask us to become someone else, but to cultivate, through our choices, our clearest and most valuable part.

The meaning in the painting

Stone steps climb between dark rocks toward a large disc of golden light. The path is neither straight nor easy, but every step leads toward the brightest part of ourselves.

Craft

A finished work

Materials, frame and finish complete the identity of the work.
